If you are looking for a study placement in Germany, you must have entitlement to study here (Ger.: Hochschulzugangsberechtigung, HZB), in accordance with the German Abitur examination regulations. This could be a secondary school certificate, in some cases combined with a university entrance exam. In parts, two to three semesters of study in your home country, in some cases even to the point of completion of study, may be recognised as a higher education entrance qualification in Germany.
Please note that sufficient German language skills are also required for application and admission to a degree program!
Depending on which degree program you are applying for, there may be additional requirements such as English language skills, mandatory practical training, aptitude tests, an application portfolio, exposé or a required minimum grade point average. Please inform yourself about these requirements here: Degree programs (in German). Formal criteria for admission to a degree programme include the adherence to deadlines, signatures on the application, method of translation and proper authentification.
